Happy September! And Hello from Bath, England!
The Sydney Gardens, a favorite green space of Jane Austin's, has become one of mine too!
I made this quilt just before I left Kansas. I love it! It will be come a "memory quilt" for this trip, as it reminds me of all the beauty we've seen in Ireland & England.
The hydrangea BORDER STRIPE is perfect with this Villa Rosa pattern, LINK UP.
It is quilted and on display in the store now.
We have a few kits left. It would also be awesome with any border stripe.
I am heading back to London and will dash into the Victoria & Albert Museum.
I looked it up. The V&A has only 1802 William Morris objects on display! How will I manage that?!! Luckily, the museum is open on Friday's until 10 PM, so I may be bleary-eyed, but I will have seen much. ;)
Be sure to check out our current stash of William Morris, in the store now, and some still to come like WANDLE in October.
STRAWBERRY THIEF is so popular, it is often on backorder. But be patient, and there will either be a new color offered, or the basic (like navy) will be back in soon.
We still have some bundles of 16 FAT QUARTERS, perfect for NIGHT SKY or anything else.
Remember, new SAMPLER QUILT CLASS starts soon!
We're heading home this weekend.
Wishing you a fun and safe LABOR DAY weekend.
Tuesday Sept 6 the Central Kansas Quilt Shop Hop group meets to show each other our quilts, take photos, and then . . . they will be posted to web sites & social media! Stay tuned!
Looking forward to coming home and see all of you soon! "There's no place like home!" ;)
Have a great holiday weekend,
Closed for the Holiday, Labor Day Monday Sept 5.
