While the FLAMINGO is iconic in Florida, so is the SEA TURTLE! I've spent a lot of time at the beach during "turtle nesting season", but I had never seen a fresh nest until this trip! So exciting. It gave me goose-bumps! On our first early morning beach walk, Eleanor & I enountered a nest being marked by the Conservancy team. "She" had only recently moved on! |
