We have a new line of fabric, POSITIVI-TEA, and are especially excited as it is designed by an artist who grew up shopping at Charlotte's! I can't tell you how happy that makes me!
Click here or above to watch Lori Danelle (Walters) Wilson chat it up with Kirsten. She tells the story of how this first fabric line, POSITIVI-TEA came to be (Trader Joe's is involved!) and shows samples of the next line, already in the works for deliver early 2022. Click here to see POSITIVI-TEA online now.
Stop in the store for this "positiv" message PANEL and all the beautiful coordinates!
Lori mentions growing up in the local 4-H chapter with our own Mary Eilerts as her sewing leader. And this is COUNTY FAIR week right now!
Check out these animals, all gussied up, they are ready for judging at the Fair!
Plus we have all sorts of other great FARM related FABRICS!
Come in and browse, or just start searching on the web site. Click on the magnifying glass icon at the top of any page, and see what you get. Start with PIG. ;)
If you can't make it on the LIVE SALE, you can always check out what's ON SALE on the web. In the store, here on Main Street? Be sure to wander all the waaaaay back to the BATTING/BACKING/CUDDLE/SALE room when you're in the store. Never been in there? Just ask for directions next time you're in the store! Always something fun there!
I feel the need to "explain" why you're only going to see one batting listed on the web site. The cost of freight is just wreaking havoc on batting prices. We have on hand several widths of Hobbs 80 cotton/20 poly in regular and bleached.
We carry polyester batts from both Hobbs & Quilter's Dream. We carry cotton from Quilter's Dream in two weights and many sizes.
We carry 80/20 that is 62" wide and can be purchased by the yard, perfect for throws! We carry 80/20 fusible, perfect for baby & craft projects like placemats & runners.
But to figure what the postage will be to ship has to be done carefully, so we prefer those orders by phone. Thanks for understanding!
Here's a simple BRUNCH NAPKIN made with another MENAGERIE BORDER PRINT from Indigo & Aster. Maybe these guys & gals are headed to the Fair too? ;)
Come check out all our ideas for easy sewing projects. There's still a bit of hot weather ahead and you'll have fun staying cool and being creative.
Lori mentioned Sylvia, who works several days a week at Charlotte's, who helped teach her to sew when she was young and is still a good teacher! Plus we've got Cathy who actually teaches sewing in the public schools and works here this summer plus most Saturdays during the school year. Everyone who works here loves to sew and loves to share.
Need a question answered? A tool or ruler has you baffled? We TEACH FROM THE CUTTING TABLE, so please, don't be shy! You don't need a whole class! We're here to help you no matter what level you are on! We are POSITIV-WE can help you have fun sewing!
Hope to see you soon.
Have a great weekend,
