Hi all!
Have you made a big quilt lately? Was it a "quickie", large, basic shapes, and not very challenging? Ok, those can be great quilts, fine to give as a quick gift, but . . .
let's push you a bit with a sampler quilt. Now don't be scared! This isn't nearly as complicated as it looks! No curved piecing. All straight lines. And it is rotary cut using acrylic templates. The pieces fit together so well! You can do this!

Hi all!
This time of year, the fruit coming to Kansas is finally decent! For those of you in big cities, I think you take it for granted, but we don't! I'm eating a peach a day, and fear the day the good supply ends! I get so excited seeing the big containers of blueberries, that are just "cobbler in waiting". hehehe

Hi all!
Happy Friday the 13th anniversary to my dh of 40 years! Randy & I were married in San Francisco City Hall, on a Thursday. I see that the New York Times recently did a story on couples who were married in that august venue, but they neglected chatting us up! Oh well, that story is for another time. It was an adventure! ;)
Today we are vacationing in Florida, where we have spent many happy anniversaries with family.

Hi all!
Oooh, Monday morning was real cool! I mean, jacket-needed-on-a-walk cool! Happy August! LOL
It did give us a brief reminder that Autumn is right around the corner. But I’ve still got some summer living to do! ;)
Tomorrow Lily & I are headed to Florida for our annual fun family vacation.
