This is the week that Sewing goes way over the top of the charts when compared to Gardening! It is 103 almost everywhere, and higher lots of places. Stay inside and sew!
I'm going to CUT right to the chase here - we now have too many of this blade! Apparently, when we couldn't get them, we kept re-ordering them, and when they arrived at the warehouse they sent us all of our orders at once! hahahaha!
limit 2 per customer, while supply lasts, through this weekend.
This offer good only on this Clover 45mm, 1 blade package. Good news, it fits Olfa too, and it is our favorite blade. It comes out of the package sharper and lasts longer! So my over-stock is your over-the-top savings opportunity! ;)
Sure, you come in looking for stuff for cutting, like this, replacement blades, seam rippers, thread for piecing. But have you noticed all the other cool stuff we have, literally, "hanging around"?
Like these really sweet embroidery hoops - why use a plain old wood one when you could use one of these darling little floral babes?!
And check out the latest in the PAPER PIECING department. Have you ever tried to pin through the paper foundations used in English Paper Piecing? They are like cardstock and it isn't easy. So, now we have SEW TITE, the little magnet SET designed to hold them together. And then TULA PINK came up with a sweeter version yet - little HEART SEW TITES!
We carry a variety of PAPER PIECES, many styles, many sizes, and packaging sizes too. Be sure to check it out the next time you're in the store.
The DMC floss, the PRECENSIA PERLE COTTON, and the SASHIKO thread is all in the 3rd building, just past the QUILTING MACHINE.
The BATTING SHELVES are BULGING again! Now's the time to pick up a package of batting for those quilts you are working on. The prices are only going one direction and it isn't down. Take advantage of our current prices and great SELECTION!
Cotton, Poly, Wool, Silk and blends. 80/20 cotton/poly is the most popular. The thinnest cotton and thin poly are both moving fast now that the heat is up and people are finishing summer quilts.
Check out the FUSIBLE. Pick up a crib size FUSIBLE 80/20 to have on hand for your next table runner. Makes the quilting so much easier!
Choose from HOBBS, QUILTERS DREAM & BOSAL!
We are getting ready for another STITCH-ALONG. This one from Kim Diehl, featuring her GRATITUDE & GRACE fabrics in a small "scrappy" quilt called HUMBLE & HEARTFELT and we'll get it going in July.
We have complete kits ready for you. The pattern is in the kit as are all the fabrics for the top & binding, as shown in Kim's quilt.
We have an excellent selection of KIM DIEHL fat quarters and FABRICS by the yard on the web. Dig into that "stash" and tweek HUMBLE & HEARTFELT just the way you like it! (Sorry, at this time, with the kit is the only way one can get the pattern.)
And JOIN OUR STITCH-ALONG, starting the week after July 4th! More details to follow.
Do you love KIM DIEHL's designs? Here is another wonderful "Winter" quilt. FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS will be perfect for Christmas decorating, and also add warmth through the rest of winter too, as it doesn't "holler" Christmas!
I fell in love with the twisted garland RIBBON BOW, and the wreaths use lots of my favorite "Kim colors", red & green. ;)
Our kit is a combination of past & present KIM DIEHL COLLECTIONS, as well fabrics from FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS.
My favorites are the PRINTED PATCHWORKS (not used in this quilt), and the TOILES, especially the 108" wide toile for the BACKING!
Mindy has started working on her quilt, and it will be in the store soon. It is coming along! I love the variety of backgrounds in Kim Diehl's quilts. Our kits contain a great variety as well.
The MODA SAMPLER SPREE SAL started this week. Click here if you still need the book. Susan is doing "blue" blocks this week. Lots of blue fabrics look good together, with lots of variety!
