New fabrics are online.

Check out FAVORITE THINGS from Sassafras Lane designer, Shayla Wolf for Windham Fabrics.  https://sewnatural.com/search.asp?keyword=favorite+things

Above are the vibrant spectrum of colors, with sweet little "things" hidden in the prints.  But also included, and not shown here are some awesome whites.

Here is a detail of one that I used in my new butterfly quilt.  Just the right touch of print/no print!

A bit more traditional, checkout SPRING BROOK from Corey Yoder for Moda.  Love the yellow on the grey!

AMERICAN GATHERING and AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL are two new patriotic lines from Moda's favorite designers, Primitive Gatherings & Deb Strain.  Click here to see even more PATRIOTIC PRINTS.

Also FLOWERS FOR FREYA by Linzee McCray for Moda.

Shown in another of her lines, also based on vintage FEEDSACKS, which we also have available, TRUE BLUE

Yesterday a sunny 68 degrees and today rain mixed with snow here in Newton.

In many ways this has been a strange and difficult week for us here at Charlotte's.  I am sad to relate that Mary Enz's long battle with leukemia came to an end on Monday.

As you can see in her obituary, Mary was very active in our town.  She touched the lives of many. She had a unique sense of humor!

One of my favorite of her many projects using remnants and repurposed items was this WOW shopping tote.  She could make me laugh!

Even before she came to work for us, bustling around EAU LILY, full of energy and ideas, she was a fixture in Newton and North Newton retail.  She just loved working with and helping people!  She had great ideas too.

I hope you enjoyed her idea of "Pi Day" a few years ago.  She organized the staff to bake and bring home-made pies to share with customers on March 14, as a "thank you".  That was "so Mary".
Her passing has left a big hole in our lives, but memories of her are huge in our hearts.

May you have a safe & healthy week's end, and we hope to see you soon,
Charlotte
